About Us:

The Montessori approach to education is followed in Huntsfield Montessori.
Each child is valued as a unique individual and supported in exploring and solving
problems independently. The Aistear themes of “Well-being”, “ Communication”,
“Identity and Belonging” and “Exploring and Thinking” are evident in the
curriculum offered in Huntsfield Montessori.

ECCE places are offered, whereby children (of two years and eight months and
not older then five years and six months by the end of the program year) can
avail of three hours a day free preschool for 38 weeks a year.

Didactic materials are used to support all areas of learning and development and
Lámh sign language is used to promote the inclusion of every child in preschool
activities.

At Huntsfield Montessori, we highly value our partnership with parents, inviting
families to spend a day with us and experience their child’s learning environment
firsthand.

Mixed age groups in the preschool setting offer a rich social environment where
children can learn from and support each other.

Children learn best when they are happy, so our primary goal is to create a fun
and stimulating environment

“The child has his own laws of growth, and if we want to help him grow, we must follow    him instead of imposing ourselves on him.”

-Maria Montessori
